may 20th mini-task: Soviet Superman

This stained glass portrays a statue at the soviet war memorial with East Berlin on his left and Moscow on his right.  This window shows an incredibly moving and inspirational image lessened only by the reputation of its makers.  The statue’s image is enhanced by its communist crimson colouring.  The man, I can only describe as looking like the Red Son of Kyrpton looking incredibly heroic.  It represents communist brotherhood, fortitude and honour in the glorious manner humanly possible.  It almost makes a man want to pick up a hammer and sickle while humming the Russian national anthem.

Oh yeah that what a hero does, he stands strong and leads us forward past hardship.
It's why I made the comparison I did.
Superman is called the man of tomorrow because he is greater man, a man beyond the struggles of today who will stand with us despite our faults and be the perfect man, strong and more just than we deserve, like Moses, Jesus and King Arthur all rolled into one.
That is what this image looks like to me.
